Winter is here!
Here in Louisville, we have seemed to bypass the fall season. Summer almost straight into winter. We are working on keeping the fish warm.
Farmer Joe
Joe had to clean out the duck coop and move the spent straw over to the grow beds. We feed the duck certified organic food.
Farming is work!
Spent the morning picking up wood chips, putting up some strings to help support the tomatoes and harvesting some okra and mustard greens. Also observed a nice Monarch butterfly. It

Re-tested my water this afternoon. It looks like the nitrites are going down, the pH is up a bit and the nitrates are down. I will check again tomorrow and
Lettuce is popping
The lettuce in the system is looking good. Around 3 weeks planted in the aquaponic system. Ordered some more fish this evening so I can increase the nutrient output. Look
